Psalm 23 is such a well-known psalm and is often spoken or sung at important occasions.
This magnificent Psalm features in this song and brings great reassurance that God is with us every step we take. In the hard times and in the good, He is always there ... providing, protecting and bringing peace.
May you find this song calming, and as you sit and reflect on the lyrics, imagine Jesus, the Good Shepherd, guiding and directing you along the path He has for you knowing that He will never leave you nor forsake you.

I loved this song from the very first time I heard it. It resonated with my spirit and helped me face my fears.
My hope is that this song will help you rise up and declare that you are a child of God. Nothing can change that. You are a much loved son or daughter of the King and you no longer have to bow down to, or be driven by, fear.

The back-story to this song really spoke to me, because it was a reassurance that no wounds are too deep for God to mend. Written at an all time low in Joe King’s life, it will resonate with anyone who wants to be used by God but isn’t sure if their past disqualifies them.
Knowing that the God of the universe is interested in each one of us, and sings over us with joy, brings me to tears. And it gives me hope that we still matter to Him no matter what has happened in the past. May you feel His love afresh as you listen to this song, because He promises to never leave you nor forsake you.

He is the reason that I sing, and when I remind myself that He holds everything in His hands, I can continually commit my life into His hands and worship Him whether experiencing tears or joy.

I love this Christmas song which asks the question ... “Do you have room?” It’s a timeless reminder for us to consider.
Do we have room to receive His unconditional love no matter how many mistakes we’ve made in the past? Do we have room for Him to come into our hearts so that we can receive His promise of eternal life? Do we have room, in amongst the busyness of life to guide and direct us, for Him to be a part of everything we do .. because He first gave His life for us. Do we have room?
